Technological implementations have arrived in Spain: Blockchain Sports Motorsport is modernizing Andalucía Circuit

Andalucía Circuit in Almeria, renowned for its scenic landscape and world-class facilities, has just reopened with a new purpose: to integrate cutting-edge technology and innovation into motorsport training through the establishment of the Blockchain Sports Motorsport Academy.

This ambitious project, based in one of Spain’s premier racing locations, is set to revolutionize the way young athletes are trained, combining traditional motorsport with modern XR/VR solutions. From resurfacing the track to building a high-tech campus, the Academy aims to attract and develop the next generation of motorsport talent and make the sport more affordable.

Why Andalucía?

Andalucía Circuit, located in southern Spain, was the ideal choice for the Blockchain Sports Motorsport Academy for several reasons. Its dry, sunny climate allows for year-round training, as the region receives only minimal rainfall, ensuring that training sessions and competitions can proceed uninterrupted. This makes Andalucía an optimal location for motorsport, where ideal weather conditions are crucial for consistent practice and performance improvement. Moreover, the region’s accessibility within Spain makes it an ideal hub for aspiring riders and motorsport enthusiasts, further supporting the Academy's mission to attract the best talents from around the country.

Located in the breathtaking Tabernas region,

Andalucía Circuit is a gem of the motorsport world.

Spanning over 4,000 meters of asphalt, the track is designed to challenge riders with its dynamic layout, featuring multiple turns, elevation changes, and sections that test every aspect of a rider’s skill set.

With six different configurations available, the track is adaptable to suit riders of various levels, from beginners to professionals, making it perfect for the multi-tiered training programs.

The circuit has already earned the trust of elite motorsport competitions, including MotoGP, Le Mans, Formula Teams, the World Endurance Championship, and the World Touring Car Championship. It has hosted high-profile events, and its reputation as a world-class venue is further enhanced by its connection to Spanish racing legend, Tito Rabat, MotoGP Moto2 World Champion, who inaugurated the track.

Our plans

The Blockchain Sports Motorsport Academy is set on modernizing the Andalucía Circuit and enhancing it for the benefit of its students. The first major step will be resurfacing the asphalt on the track, ensuring it remains in top condition for high-performance training and competition.

Beyond this, the Academy plans to build a state-of-the-art hangar with XR/VR training sets designed to meet the diverse needs of riders and teams. This facility will include spaces for motorcycle maintenance, student recreation areas, locker rooms, a canteen, as well as offices and classrooms for technical training and strategy sessions.

The Academy's vision is not just about providing top-tier facilities, but also about streamlining the entire development process for young riders.

Selected from competitions held throughout Spain, students will participate in the Academy’s internal races to showcase their talents. The most promising riders, identified for their skills, psychological resilience, and dedication, will be invited to join the program.

To ensure students can focus entirely on their performance, the Academy is committed to removing the typical financial and logistical burdens that often hinder athletes.

From equipment maintenance to transportation and training logistics, the Academy provides everything the students need so they can concentrate solely on riding and improving their skills.
